ENGLISH DESCRIPTION:
This is the story of the legendary Enrico Caruso, most admired Italian operatic tenor of the early 20th century and one of the first musicians to document his voice on gramophone recordings. Caruso was born poor in Naples in the late nineteenth century. Little more than a child, he begins singing in restaurants of his city to earn a living. Starting with the story of the last days of life of the great tenor, the miniseries tells the story of artistic and personal Caruso, from his talented childhood to his debuts, to the American successes of the Metropolitan and the final consecration as a "star" of the opera world.
