È un normalissimo giorno di scuola, poco prima delle vacanze di Natale, e tutti sono in fermento per la recita imminente. Un bambino, intento a giocare con gli altri nel cortile della scuola, lancia una pietra rompendo una finestra e ferendo lievemente il bidello. Si tratta di un bimbo musulmano e l'accaduto darà vita ad un dibattito, ricco di colpi di scena, che vedrà protagonisti il preside, la maestra, il bidello e sua moglie e naturalmente la mamma del bambino, insieme a sua suocera.

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION:
"The First Stone": Havoc ensues at Christmas time in an elementary school in Rome. It is a normal school day, just before the Christmas holidays, and everyone is in turmoil for the upcoming performance. A child, playing with others in the schoolyard, throws a stone, breaking a window and slightly wounding the janitor. It is a Muslim child and the incident will give rise to a debate, full of twists, which will protagonist the principal, the teacher, the janitor and his wife and of course the mother of the child, together with her mother-in-law.
