Salvo, undici anni, vive con gli zii in Trentino. Il giorno della sua Prima Comunione, mentre gioca a pallone con gli amici, compare inaspettatamente a bordo campo un uomo, è suo padre Vincenzo. Salvo a stento lo riconosce, non lo vede, infatti, da sette anni, da quando due carabinieri lo avevano portato via dalla loro casa in Puglia. Ora Vincenzo è uscito di prigione, dice di voler passare qualche giorno con il figlio e parte con lui verso il sud. Durante questo viaggio lungo l’Italia, scandito da molti incontri e ricordi, Salvo imparerà a conoscere suo padre ma dovrà fare i conti anche con i suoi segreti e il suo passato.
ENGLISH DESCRIPTION:
"Stolen Days": Salvo is 5 years old when his father Vincenzo gets arrested and put in jail. The kid is sent to live with his uncles in the North-East of Italy, but some years later, once out of prison, Vincenzo shows up again in order to take Salvo back with him. Father and son are perfect strangers and don’t almost recognize each other, but have to start a trip together heading back to southern Italy, where Vincenzo has a task to accomplish. During this long journey sitting in the same car, they will finally face the truth about their relationship, discovering what they really are for each other.
