The Concerto n. 2 by Rachmaninov also puts the great masters of the piano to the test. Thomas, a young virtuoso among the best talents in France, is well aware of this and has been preparing for months to go on stage at the prestigious Salle Pleyel in Paris. But it is not because of the complexity of the score, if the notes are wrong on the evening of the debut: it is because there, in the audience, seated on the lap of an unsuspecting woman, is the ghost of his father Raymond. Subverting the laws of the possible, the man returned from beyond to ask his son to help him fulfill a wish: to reunite with Camille, with whom in life he shared a lasting platonic sentiment, born many years earlier on a summer beach. There is only one way for the dream to come true, an unprecedented ritual that should reunite the two lovers in a definitive way. And so the pianist and his father's ghost embark on a daring overseas adventure, intent on mending the tears of time and seeking a - albeit belated - happy ending.
