ENGLISH DESCRIPTION:
Fernando Acitelli's novel raises a type of lyrical wanderer, a traversal of Rome that has no equal, exempt as he is from daily relationships, obligations and deadlines; he is the one who is out of this world in self-defense because he is too emotionally embedded in it. A story of change in which every glimpse of the city, from Quadraro to Tor Pignattara to Pigneto to Umbertine Piazza Vittorio in the historic center resembles a pile of chipped photographs but still alive in the characters, snapshots found in a wicker basket inside a vis à vis from the 1930s.
