Un racconto che attraversa diciotto anni della sua formazione, dall'inizio come comparsa a Cinecittà, al doppiaggio di Oliver Hardy (Ollio), all'amicizia con Federico Fellini che lo dirige nel suo primo film Lo Sceicco Bianco, fino al 1954 con il grande successo cinematografico di Un Americano A Roma che lo consacra come protagonista assoluto della "commedia italiana".

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION:
A biographical film about the great Italian Actor Alberto Sordi, who reveals his personal and professional path, jagged with obstacles, hopes, stubbornness, disappointments, loves, successes and all. A story that spans eighteen years of his training, from the beginning as an extra at Cinecittà, to the dubbing of Oliver Hardy (Ollio), to the friendship with Federico Fellini who directed him in his first film "Lo Sceicco Bianco - The White Sheik", until 1954 with the great cinematographic success of "Un Americano A Roma - An American In Rome" which consecrates him as the absolute protagonist of the "Italian comedy".
